All tutoring sessions are held online through Zoom. Your student can join from home using a computer or tablet. I recommend having any notes, assignments, study guides, or other materials they want to work on ready before the session so we can make the most of our time together.

Yes! All new students start with a 30-minute consultation before their first tutoring session. This gives me a chance to learn more about your student, what they need help with, and what you’re hoping to get out of tutoring. It also gives us a chance to make sure I’m the right fit for your student before moving forward.

Your initial consultation is good for 6 months. As long as your student begins tutoring within 6 months of their consultation, there’s no need to complete another one.

The initial 30-minute consultation is $45. After that, tutoring sessions are $60 for 45 minutes.

Not at all! After completing the initial consultation, you can choose what works best for your student. You’re welcome to book one-time sessions whenever they need some extra help, or we can set up recurring weekly sessions if they would benefit from more consistent support.

Absolutely. If your student needs more support, we can set up more than one recurring session per week as long as I have availability.

Anything that will help me understand what they’re currently working on! This might include class notes, homework, assignments, study guides, review sheets, or specific questions they have. If there’s something you’d like me to look over beforehand, you can send it to me prior to the session.

That's completely fine. Tutoring doesn't have to be centered around homework. We can review concepts they're learning in class, go back over topics they haven't fully understood, practice science skills, or prepare for upcoming assessments.

I understand that things come up! Sessions canceled at least 24 hours in advance can be canceled or rescheduled without penalty. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled session are charged 50% of the session fee, except in the case of an emergency. No-shows are charged the full session fee.

The initial consultation fee is non-refundable.

If your student joins late, we can still use the remaining time in their scheduled session. Unfortunately, I can't extend the session past the scheduled end time since I may have another student booked afterward.
